Busy bee, life and unicycling

I have so much to do lately, I have to be careful not to get all burned out. Phew!

I was supposed to blog about my gets from Galstar, but I can't find the USB cabel for my camera! So this'll be just a text entry. I was out with friends yesterday, celebrating my roomie Susannes 20th birthday! It was a lot of fun, and today I've been:
1. Sleeping
2. Discovering Youtubers like Jack and Finn Harries, Tyler Oakley, Caspar Lee etc
3. Sleeping more
4. Eating cake

Yes.

I was supposed to work more on my halloween costume (yay!), but yesterdays intake of white wine had clearly changed my schedule. I've done a bit of cleaning though, og me!

Lately I haven't felt like myself, it's like a new personality is trying to come through, and I don't know why it's happening, or if I'm just imagining things. Am I losing myself, my identity, and having it replaced with something else? Something better, or worse?
I'm kinda confused whether I should continue my dreams on becoming a fashion/clothing designer, or do something completely different. I'm afraid I'll never be good enough to get a stabile income from it, or that I'll be sick of it all within two years. I know I'm not the only one with these issues, and that I in reality should just suck it up since other people have far much worse problems, but I just need to let out a little steam since I don't really know who to talk to about these kind of things.
Whenever I go inside my own personal bubble to reflect on things I usually get over whatever problem I have and move on, but now it seems like my insecurities are going to stick for a while.

But really though, I do feel a bit better just by writing this down and putting my thoughts into structured sentences :) Maybe I just needed this!

Here's a video that made me smile today:

All this youtube exploring makes me want to try vlogging :)
Have a nice weekend!

Ameblo! And other things :)

Some days ago, after going to a lecture on "the Japanese" WWW, I decided to make myself a small blog where I can practice my Japanese!
So if you have an ameba profile, add me/follow me/whatever it says XD

My profile is HERE.

Now, I don't know if you can see my blog entries, some have had problem getting access to them. Problem is, my Japanese is steady enough yet to find out where I can change those settings! Help, anyone? :) People can only view my entries if I say it's okay, but I want it to be an open blog!

Lately I've been picking up my drawing and watercolour equipment, I've been very creative this past week! It feels sooo good. And I'm already ahead on my Japanese homework, so I don't feel guilty if I draw and paint for hours ^^

I know I'm no Da Vinci, I've actually become fond of making childish caricatures of my friends and characters.. They're easy to do, and I think they turn out pretty cute:)

It's Susanne and me at the top, and at the bottom Emilie :) My roomies and me, yay!

Woah, September's gone already!

WARNING: Super long post!

So I've been super busy lately with my Japanese homework and such, I've had no time to update my blog as much as I wanted to.

What has happened this last month?
  • School life
  • Partying
  • Went to Trondheim
  • Seigmen concert
This month has kind of been super awesome, but also very tiring. Roller coaster deluxe!

  • School life
So I'm now in my second year of my Bachelors degree in Japanese, and it's becoming harder and harder to keep up. But somehow I manage to tag along nicely, so no despair yet! :D
On a side note, from April 1st 2013, I will most likely go to Waseda University in Tokyo for a year long exchange program!! I'm SO looking forward to it, I've been looking at different courses I can take, and I've been looking at apartments... *squeee* So now I have to renew my passport, fill out the actual application and get all my papers in order! And I should start thinking what I'm going to bring.. Two suitcases is my maximum limit, I think.
I think I'll start a new blog about my life in Japan, how it's like to be a Norwegian in Japan etc. y/n?
  • Partying
Yes, partying. I've been partying a bit too much lately I guess, my bank account says so, and my liver says so. :P But the parties we've had were incredibly fun!
The weekend 14th-16th was crazy. Met gorgeous fantastic people, and I really wish I could go back.

 Anne came to visit! *heartheartheart*

Bought new bunny ears, they're so fancy!

On Sunday Emilie and I visited Simon and Trond.
Pizza, movies, gaming and good company. Perfect hangover Sunday. ♥ ♥ ♥

Top hat!
  • Trip to Trondheim
So I went to Trondheim the week after, and it was soooo good to see my family and old friends again! Hadn't seen mom and my grandparents in almost nine months, and dad and Rita in a whole year! Wow.. I was glad they all were doing well :)
On Friday 21st, I went to the house warming party of some friends of mine!
Haven't been to a more wild party in a long time, I think I'm getting old..

 My BFF Veronica and me!

Susann and me, sooo good to see her again!

Samuel and me :D
  • Seigmen concert
Last saturday (29th) at another house warming party I was told Seigmen was in town, and had two concerts that weekend. I haven't listened to the band in ages, but it's one of my favorite Norwegian bands! I had nooo idea they were playing, and I was basically broke. I was super depressed that I couldn't go, but then the money spender in me said "You know what? You do have enough money, just get in line early enough to grab one of the last spare tickets.". So I did. 8D Stood in line for almost two hours to get a ticket, ran home and got properly dressed, and the I went to one of the best concerts I've ever been to. There was also a signing session at a record store earlier that day, so I got to meet them as well!!

Yes, that's me and Seigmen. And yes, I look absolutely retarded :'DD

Yum.

So.
This turned out to be a pretty long entry, but now you know what I've been up to!
I don't have any lectures next week, but I'm going to a meeting to discuss my stay at Waseda, so all the papers are in order :) Can't wait! I'll keep you posted ^^

Now, I have to get out of bed and make some breakfast, it's 2:23 already... -_- but that's Sundays for ya!
